Out of State Student Scholarship

An exciting new scholarship opportunity is now available for out-of-state students interested in attending Oregon State University. The Out of State Student Scholarship is available to eligible new freshmen and transfer students who are admitted Fall term 2020 to the Food Science and Technology program.

If you are eligible, the Out of State Student Scholarship will be awarded to you automatically once you are accepted to Oregon State University.

The application to Oregon State University beginning Fall term 2020 is now open.  For priority consideration, you application for admission must be received by Oregon State University by February 1, 2020, and all supporting documentation to the application must be received by February 14, 2020.

2020-2021 Scholarship Information

Thanks to various food companies, food industry trade associations, professional societies and individuals, the OSU Department of Food Science and Technology is fortunate to coordinate a sizeable number of scholarships and grants.

Most student awards are undergraduate scholarships which recognize academic performance and achievement in Food Science (which includes club activities, internships, or other professional development activities within the Food Science field).

Early Winter term is the time to make application for academic year scholarships. Deadlines vary but many are as early as February 1 and a few extend into May.
