The OSU Creamery located in the Arbuthnot Dairy Center is home to a student centered project involving the commercial production of Beaver Classic™ Cheese.
Production of OSU Beaver Classic™ Cheese
In the OSU Creamery, students develop, produce, and sell cheeses made using milk from the OSU dairy farm. The students receive authentic and intense training in dairy processing while earning money to pay for their education.
Thanks to the success and strong demand for our Beaver Classic™ branded cheese, several NEW VARIETIES have been developed and are produced commercially in the OSU Creamery.
The current program is self-supported through the sale of Beaver Classic™ Cheese. Due to the success of this program, the goal is to add more Beaver Classic™ branded products in the future!
